Description

Navgrahas play a major role in deciding the fate of man. Navagraha derived from the Sanskrit words “Nava” and “Graha”. Nava means “nine”, Graha means “planet”. Navagraha gods are Surya (Sun), Chandra (Moon), Mangal (Mars), Budha (Mercury), Guru (Jupiter), Shukra (Venus), Shani (Saturn), Rahu and Ketu. The effects of the worship of the Navgraha deities are consequently manifested at the disposal of their relative energies in a given nativity of a worshipper in question, especially in relation to the Bhavas occupied by the respective Grahas. The cosmic energy we always receive contains different energies from different celestial bodies. “When we repeatedly pronounce a mantra, we tune a particular frequency and that frequency makes contact with cosmic energy and drags it in our bodies and around us. Navagraha are usually placed in a single square with the Sun (Surya) in the center and the other deities surrounding Surya; not two of them are made to face each other. In Agama Prathishta, Surya occupies the central square, Chandra to the east of Surya, Budha to the south, Brihaspati to its west, Shukra to the north, Mangala to the southeast, Shani to the southwest, Rahu to the northwest and Ketu to the northeast. Average height: 12.3 cm. Weight: 7800 g.
